Community Guidelines
Draft policy - last updated 2 July 2026
Ashgate is a competitive criminal underworld in fiction. The people behind the accounts are real. These guidelines apply to forums, chat, private messages, family spaces, profiles, usernames, reports, support tickets, and any other player-facing content.
Expected Conduct
Rivalries, trash talk, betrayals, negotiations, and family politics are part of Ashgate. Keep them inside the game, directed at fictional characters and in-game actions, and avoid targeting real people.
Not Allowed
- No hate speech, harassment, or threats.
- No doxxing or sharing personal information.
- No spam, phishing, or unsolicited advertising.
- No impersonating staff or other players.
- No coordinating real-world crime.
- No sexual content involving minors or attempts to contact minors inappropriately.
- No instructions for real-world violence, fraud, hacking, drugs, or weapons.
- No encouraging self-harm or targeting vulnerable players.
Reports and Moderation
Use the report tools or support system when content breaks these guidelines. Do not organise pile-ons or retaliation. Moderators may review reported content in context, remove content, issue warnings, mute players, restrict accounts, or ban accounts. Reporter privacy and exact moderation outcomes may not be disclosed.
Staff and Official Messages
Staff will not ask for your password. Do not claim to be staff, use names or profile details that confuse players about your role, or spread false official announcements.
Final Decisions
Moderation decisions are made to protect the community and the integrity of the game. Serious or repeated violations may lead to permanent restrictions even if the same conduct happened outside public channels.
